The business is named after her creator who decorated her first cake for her older sister’s birthday in 1994. Later she went to the California Culinary Academy (CCA) with the intention of becoming a caterer. Since her graduation from CCA, Jen has concentrated on cakes and tasty treats. Jen began by doing birthday cakes for Applebee’s in Gilroy where she worked as a waitress. She then went to work for a Bay Area bakery that concentrated on Wedding and other special occasion cakes. After the ownership at the bakery changed, she went on her own doing cakes for friends and family.
Jen has since moved on from the bakery and the bakery has changed hands a few times in-between but the cakes remain as beautiful and delicious as always. The two newest owners are local bakers with a passion for all things cake! Marlina is a self taught fondant artist who specializes in fancy fondant design and figures and Shavon is a cookier who just makes the prettiest decorated cookies you ever did see. We are quite simply overjoyed at the opportunity that we have to continue the great tradition of cake that Jen started many years ago!
can be booked as far as 18 months in advance. Because we are a small business, our weekends tend to fill up quickly. It is best to plan your cake tasting according to the season of your wedding. Remember the popular months of May – October and know that we can fill up as far as 4-6 months in advance. We always list our closed weekend on our website for your convenience.

Special Occasion Cakes & Cupcakes...
(i.e. birthday, anniversary, and showers)
should be ordered 7 days in advance. Just like wedding cakes, we sometimes cannot take special occasion cake/cupcake orders. The list that applies to our closed weekends for weddings, also applies to our special occasion cakes. Miniature/Two-bite desserts should be ordered 10-14 days in advance. Some desserts require special ordered items and need up to 2 weeks for shipping.
